Speaker: Peggy Senter
The popular image of Beethoven is of the revolutionary, stormy artist who wrote such incisive and dramatic works as the "Pathetique" Sonata and the Fifth Symphony. We'll balance that image with the serene, sublime, and solemn music of masterworks such as the 4th Piano Concerto, the Archduke Piano Trio, and other beautiful examples from his middle and late periods.
Thursday, March 7, 12:10 to 12:50pm. Free and open to the public.
