The Music School’s multi-level curriculum provides a well-rounded musical education, including weekly lessons, regular evaluation, and frequent performance and ensemble opportunities. All ages and abilities are welcome. New student orientation for the spring semester is in mid/late January; weekly lessons start week of January 29. To learn more, give us a call at 603-228-3396. Purple Finches Spring Semester - Once On This Island, Jr.
The Purple Finches Youth Chorus, open to all children from kindergarten through 8th grade, builds musical skills in a fun, social environment. It’s a rich experience of creativity and self-expression, and an excellent introduction to music for any young person. The three sections of the Purple Finches Youth Chorus (K-2, grades 3-5 and 6-8) allow an age-appropriate sequence of musical development, as students learn music literacy through regular rhythm, solfège, and ear-training, based on a hybrid of Kodály and other methods. This spring, the Purple Finches will produce the musical play Once On This Island, Jr., and every child will have a chance to be a part of cast and crew. Rehearsals begin on Jan. 29. Tech Week: May 14-17; Performances: May 18-20. Click here to register your Finch for the spring semester.
The Music School's Music and Movement classes are perfect for young children and their caregivers – choose from Toddler Time!, Drums & Fun, Stretch, Dance, and Create; and more. These sessions are fun, active, age-appropriate, and maybe a little silly sometimes! Classes are open to children of all abilities.
