Folk Jam Workshop with Liz and Dan Faiella
Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 PM in the Recital Hall

Open to all adult, intermediate musicians, and all acoustic folk instruments welcome (pianists, bring your own keyboard with headphones!)

Build your jamming repertoire, skills, and confidence! Folk music is social music, and this jam/class combo will help you build your folk tune repertoire and develop your comfort level with joining in on folk jam sessions, in a low-pressure atmosphere. We’ll talk about skills for playing in jam sessions with other musicians, and we’ll play fiddle tunes from a range of traditions at an up-to-speed but manageable pace. This jam is great for musicians, folk or classical, who want to gain experience playing in a folk jam session context, whether or not you have past jamming experience.
